Where Did It All Start?

Global grew from a Michigan Sign Language interpreting service into a nationwide total communication company supporting spoken-language, ASL, remote, written, and training needs.

1996

Global Is Founded

Led by one woman—who remains the sole owner, CEO, and holds four national certifications as an RID/OTC interpreter—Global begins as a Sign Language interpreting service serving educational settings in lower Michigan before expanding into medical and legal work.

2013

Foreign-Language Interpreting

Global adds Foreign Language interpreting. With over 400 interpreters in 300+ languages, the company serves organizations ranging from major Michigan health systems and school districts to local family practices.

2015

Remote Interpreting Launches

Global launches video remote and over-the-phone interpreting, reducing costs, increasing availability and access, and strengthening digital communication for businesses and individuals nationwide.

Today

Nationwide Language Support

Global coordinates interpreting, translation, and public-safety training through a nationwide network of more than 13,000 skilled interpreters and access to 300+ languages.

Where Is Global Today?
